Preah Vihear Province

The province of Preah Vihear is located in northern Cambodia (see map, above) and is probably most well known for the Preah Vihear temple that stands on an escarpment in Cambodia overlooking Thailand.

Preah Vihear provincial post office located in the provincial capital, Tbeng Meanchey (above & below), and the Preah Vihear postmark in the Khmer language (above) and English (below).
The Preah Vihear provincial post office (above) is now one of the few remaining post offices in Cambodia made of wood with a slate roof, a design dating back to the French colonial period.
My sincere thanks to Mr. Pen Ratana and Dr. Tea Phauly.
